This Dry Carbon Fiber B48 Engine Cover replaces the factory plastic engine cover on B48-equipped BMW models with a precision-molded carbon fiber unit that transforms the engine bay into something worth showing off. Dry carbon fiber is produced using a prepreg layup process cured under vacuum pressure, resulting in a lighter, stiffer, and more consistent panel than standard wet-lay carbon. The tight 3K weave runs edge to edge with zero filler, finished in a high-gloss UV-resistant clear coat that holds its depth and shine through heat cycles and daily use. OEM-style mounting points and cap openings ensure a direct, tool-free fitment with no modifications required.
